Georgia High School Softball - Social Circle bounces Wayne County
August 25, 2023: Social Circle, GA 30025 Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Redskins now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hebron Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 25. Social Circle will battle a Lions squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Westminster (Atlanta, GA). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Wayne County falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA) to battle the Gryphons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 26. The Gryphons enter the challenge with a record of 7-2.
