The Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals (Johannesburg, MI) volleyball overcame the visiting Alcona Tigers (Lincoln, MI), 2-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Johannesburg-Lewiston upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Mancelona (Mancelona, MI) to play the Ironmen in a Ski-Valley outing on Tuesday, September 12. The Ironmen go into the outing with a record of 0-1.
