The Bellville Brahmas held off the visiting Jordan Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league test.

The Brahmas now have a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brenham for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Bellville will confront a Cubs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Brazoswood (Clute, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 15-9.

The Warriors (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Columbus (Columbus, TX). The Cardinals enter the non-league test with a 20-5 record. In their last test, Columbus was nudged by Foster (Richmond, TX), 2-1, in a non-league test.
