August 25, 2023: Sterling City, TX 76951 The Sterling City Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Brady Bulldogs to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bronte for a non-league game on Friday, August 25. Sterling City will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Knox City (Knox City, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 9-5.
The Bulldogs (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Van Horn (Van Horn, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 11-5 record. In their last game, Van Horn was nudged by Fort Hancock (Fort Hancock, TX), 3-2, in a non-league game.
