August 25, 2025: Louisville, KY 40206 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Sacred Heart Valkyries (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY), witnessed Sacred Heart's soccer team knock off Highlands by a final score of 3-0.
With the win, Sacred Heart improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Valkyries host South Oldham (Crestwood, KY) to confront the Dragons in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Dragons enter the outing with a record of 2-1. South Oldham won 6-1 in their recent non-league outing against Ballard (Louisville, KY)
Next up, the Bluebirds confront the Bellevue Tigers (Bellevue, KY) in a District 36 test, on Wednesday, August 27. Highlands will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Holmes (Covington, KY).
