South Carolina High School Volleyball - Crestwood tips Sumter
August 25, 2025: Sumter, SC 29153 In Monday's non-league challenge, the host Crestwood Knights volleyball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Sumter Gamecocks.
With the win, Crestwood improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights host Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 0-2. Richland Northeast lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Keenan (Columbia, SC)
The Gamecocks now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spring Valley for a test on Tuesday, September 2. Sumter will meet a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over White Knoll (Lexington, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
