August 25, 2025: Gastonia, NC 28052 The South Point Red Raiders topped the host Highland Tech Rams volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league game.
Next up, the Red Raiders confront the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, August 27. South Point will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Warriors come into the outing with a 3-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cherryville (Cherryville, NC).
With the loss, Highland Tech drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Cherryville (Cherryville, NC) to play the Ironmen in a game on Thursday, August 28. The Ironmen go into the game with a record of 1-4. Cherryville lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC)
