August 25, 2025: Norwood, NC 28128 South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, South Stanly advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls host South Davidson (Denton, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 27. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 0-3. South Davidson lost 8-1 in their recent non-league outing against Albemarle (Albemarle, NC)
Next up, the Bearcats play the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, August 27. Anson will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Comets go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to West Davidson (Lexington, NC).
