North Carolina High School Soccer - Mount Pleasant nudged by Central Cabarrus
August 25, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124 Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Central Cabarrus moves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Carson (China Grove, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-1. Carson lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against North Iredell (Olin, NC)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, August 27. Mount Pleasant will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC).
