The River Ridge Knights softball squad (Woodstock, GA), was routed 6-0 in Monday's non-league contest with the visiting Cambridge Bears (Milton, GA)

With the triumph, Cambridge improves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Bears host Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA) to face the Hawks in a non-league contest on Wednesday, August 27. The Hawks enter the contest with a record of 4-2. Mill Creek lost 12-0 in their recent league contest against Buford (Buford, GA)

The Knights now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pope for a 5A Region 6 bout on Thursday, August 28. River Ridge will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 6-4 league loss to Creekview (Canton, GA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 5-6.
