August 25, 2025: Centerville, IA 52544 Centerville Big Reds/Redettes (Centerville, IA) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Pekin Panthers (Packwood, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Centerville advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Big Reds/Redettes host Chariton (Chariton, IA) to face the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Chariton won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Interstate 35 (Truro, IA)
Next, the Panthers play the Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 30. Pekin will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA).
