Tennessee High School Volleyball - Happy Valley overwhelmed by Cherokee

August 25, 2025: Rogersville, TN 37857

Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Cherokee advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Chiefs host Grainger (Rutledge, TN) to face the Grizzlies in a AA District 2 test on Tuesday, August 26. The Grizzlies go into the test with a record of 2-1.

The Warriors now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holston for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Happy Valley will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-0.
