August 25, 2025: Salem, VA 24153 Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Glenvar upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Northside (Roanoke, VA) to meet the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 26. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next, the Rockets meet the Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Craig County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The EAGLES come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to North Cross (Roanoke, VA).
