August 25, 2025: Clintwood, VA 24228 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA) and the visiting Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA), observed Ridgeview's volleyball squad notch a victory over Eastside by a score of 3-0.
With the win, Ridgeview improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Wolfpack travel to J.I. Burton (Norton, VA) to encounter the Black Raiders in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 27. The Black Raiders go into the battle with a record of 0-1. J.I. Burton lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Grundy (Grundy, VA)
The Spartans now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Battle for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Eastside will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Johnson County (Mountain City, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
