Illinois High School Volleyball - Lincoln-Way West edged by Yorkville
August 26, 2021: New Lenox, IL 60451 The Yorkville Foxes held off the host Lincoln-Way West Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Foxes now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mother McAuley for a non-league test on Friday, August 27. Yorkville will confront a Mighty Macs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Mighty Macs record now stands at 2-0.
The Warriors (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Neuqua Valley was nudged by St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
