August 26, 2022: Troy Mills, IA 52344 The Alburnett Pirates football squad scored 16 points and restricted the host North Linn Lynx to 13 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.
The Pirates now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pekin for a non-league battle on Friday, September 2. Alburnett will face a Dragons squad coming off a 56-20 non-league win over Rock Island (Rock Island, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 1-0.
