August 26, 2022: Conrad, IA 50621 The BCLUW Comets (Conrad, IA) football edged the visiting East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA), 20-14 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Comets face the Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) in a A District 3 bout, on Friday, September 2. BCLUW will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 37-0 non-league win over Jesup (Jesup, IA).
The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Norsemen enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Roland-Story was nudged by South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 34-28, in a non-league bout.
