August 26, 2022: Edmonton, KY 42129 The Metcalfe County Hornets football squad scored 39 points and restricted the visiting Bellevue Tigers to 38 in the Hornets non-league victory on Friday.
The Hornets now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Campbellsville for a non-league battle on Friday, September 2. Metcalfe County will play a Eagles squad coming off a 31-24 non-league loss to Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
