August 26, 2022: Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948 The First Flight Nighthawks football team (Kill Devil Hills, NC), was beaten 20-11 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA)
The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, John Paul II Catholic achieved victory over Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC), 50-8, in a non-league challenge.
The Nighthawks now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washington County for a non-league match on Friday, September 2. First Flight will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 27-20 non-league loss to Southside (Chocowinity, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
