The San Joaquin Memorial Panthers football squad scored 23 points and restricted the host Central Grizzlies to 21 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Queen Creek for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 3.

Coming up next, the Grizzlies play the Turlock Bulldogs (Turlock, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 2. Central will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 48-0 non-league loss to Clovis West (Fresno, CA).
