August 26, 2022: Aledo, IL 61231 The Mercer County Golden Eagles football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Farmington Farmers to 8 in the Golden Eagles non-league win on Friday.
The Golden Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Knoxville for a Lincoln Trail battle on Friday, September 2. Mercer County will play a Blue Bullets squad coming off a 54-20 league win over Princeville (Princeville, IL). The Blue Bullets record now stands at 1-0.
