Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 49-23 in a non-league test.

With the win, Geneva improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to confront the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, September 2. The Knights go into the test with a record of 1-0. Kaneland won 52-8 in their recent non-league test against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL)

With the loss, Metea Valley moves to 0-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Lockport (Lockport, IL) to confront the Porters in a non-league test on Friday, September 2. The Porters go into the test with a record of 1-0. Lockport won 28-6 in their recent non-league test against Joliet West (Joliet, IL)
