In Friday's league match, the host Great Plains Lutheran Panthers football squad scored a good 31-22 victory over the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Deubrook Dolphins (White, SD) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Great Plains Lutheran will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Dolphins enter the match with a 2-0 record after their 52-20 league win over Colman-Egan (Colman, SD).
