The Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA) football routed the visiting Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA), 52-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Helix will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.

The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Marauders enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Mira Mesa walloped San Marcos (San Marcos, CA), 28-21, in a non-league bout.
