In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Silver Lake Mustangs football squad scored a good 60-36 victory over the Palmer Tigers.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Nebraska Lutheran Knights (Waco, NE) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Silver Lake will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 51-2 non-league win over East Butler (Brainard, NE).

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE). The Bobcats enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Blue Hill was toppled by Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE), 70-0, in a non-league match.
