South Dakota High School Soccer - Spearfish held off by O'Gorman
August 26, 2022: Sioux Falls, SD 57105 The O'Gorman Knights held off the visiting Spearfish Spartans soccer squad by a margin of 4-3 in Friday's league match.
The Knights now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Douglas/Rapid City Christian for a Class AA match on Saturday, August 27. O'Gorman will encounter a Patriot Comets squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Yankton (Yankton, SD). The Patriot Comets record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Spearfish drops to 2-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Yankton (Yankton, SD) to encounter the Bucks/Gazelles in a Class AA match on Saturday, August 27. The Bucks/Gazelles come into the match with a record of 3-2. Yankton won 6-0 in their recent league match against Douglas/Rapid City Christian (Box Elder, SD)
