Georgia High School Softball - Cherokee bounces Ridgeland
August 26, 2022: Canton, GA 30114 The Cherokee Warriors routed the visiting Ridgeland Panthers softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Phoenix go into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Sonoraville was routed by Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA), 11-3, in a league battle.
The Panthers now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to East Paulding for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 27. Ridgeland will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-3.
