With the win, Fernley upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Vaqueros travel to McQueen (Reno, NV) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Friday, August 26. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. McQueen lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV)
The Bighorns now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Pershing County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 30. Oasis Academy will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-4.
