Pennsylvania High School Football - Holy Cross knocked off by Hanover Area
August 26, 2023: Dunmore, PA 18512 Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA), 51-20 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hanover Area improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawkeyes travel to Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, September 1. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Tunkhannock lost 49-0 in their recent league test against Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA)
With the loss, Holy Cross drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to confront the Royals in a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. The Royals come into the test with a record of 0-1. Holy Redeemer lost 49-0 in their recent non-league test against Susquehanna (Susquehanna, PA)
