August 26, 2023: Manteca, CA 95336 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA) and the visiting Delhi Hawks (Delhi, CA), saw East Union's volleyball squad beat Delhi by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, East Union upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lancers travel to Ripon (Ripon, CA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 30. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Ripon lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against St. Mary's (Stockton, CA)
The Hawks now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Escalon for a non-league match on Saturday, August 26. Delhi will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Sierra (Manteca, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.
