August 26, 2023: Atlanta, GA 30328 The Newnan Cougars topped the host Mount Vernon Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Coweta for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Newnan will confront a Indians team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Indians record now stands at 1-2.
The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their test against King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 7-4 record.
