North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 28. North Pocono will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 7-1 non-league win over West Scranton (Scranton, PA).

The Slaters now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Northern Lehigh for a Colonial - South challenge on Tuesday, August 29. Bangor will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Notre Dame (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
