Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Fightin' Irish confront the Fisher/Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Bunnies (Fisher, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 28. Bishop McNamara will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Bunnies enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, IL).

The Dragons now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Beecher for a River Valley challenge on Wednesday, August 30.
