August 26, 2023: Raleigh, NC 27610 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) and the host Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC), saw Lee County's soccer squad triumph over Southeast Raleigh by a count of 5-0.
The Yellow Jackets now hold a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Chapel Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 29. Lee County will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Southeast Raleigh drops to 0-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Knightdale (Knightdale, NC) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, August 28. The Knights come into the test with a record of 2-3. Knightdale lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against East Wake (Wendell, NC)
