Kentucky High School Volleyball - Scott County tips Blazer
August 26, 2023: Ashland, KY 41102 Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cardinals battle the Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 29. Scott County will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Colonels come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Simon Kenton (Independence, KY).
With the loss, Blazer drops to 10-2 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to Scott (Covington, KY) to battle the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, August 26. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 2-2. Scott lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY)
