Mississippi High School Volleyball - Choctaw County can't hold off Pillow Academy

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Pillow Academy Mustangs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Choctaw County Chargers.

The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Pelahatchie (Pelahatchie, MS). The Chiefs come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Pelahatchie nudged Morton (Morton, MS), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Chargers encounter the Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS) in a non-league battle, on Monday, August 28. Choctaw County will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over West Lowndes (Columbus, MS).
