August 26, 2023: Winfield, AL 35594 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Winfield Pirates (Winfield, AL) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Pirates battle the Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 29. Winfield will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
With the loss, Colbert County moves to 0-3 on the year. The Indians host Shoals Christian (Florence, AL) to battle the Flame in a non-league contest on Monday, August 28. The Flame go into the contest with a record of 6-0. Shoals Christian won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Red Bay (Red Bay, AL)
