August 26, 2023: Wortham, TX 76693 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Wortham Bulldogs (Wortham, TX) and the visiting Connally Cadets (Waco, TX), saw Wortham's volleyball squad nip Connally by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Wortham upgrades its record to 15-9 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Valley Mills lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Temple (Temple, TX)
The Cadets now own a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. Connally will play a squad coming off a 1-1 league HomeSchool Resource Center (Monee, IL). The record now stands at 13-71.
