The Southwood Knights prevailed the host Cowan Blackhawks volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Knights now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Beech Grove for a non-league test on Saturday, August 26. Southwood will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter (Indianapolis, IN). The Hornets record now stands at 1-5.

The Blackhawks (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Frankton (Frankton, IN). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Frankton gained a win over Shenandoah (Middletown, IN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
