The Downers Grove South Mustangs topped the visiting Marian Catholic Spartans volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mustangs now have a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard West for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 29. Downers Grove South will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 6-0.

The Spartans (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Rams enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Grayslake Central gained a win over Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL), 2-1, in a non-league test.
