California High School Volleyball - Kennedy tips Golden Valley

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) and the host Golden Valley Bulldogs (Bakersfield, CA), saw Kennedy's volleyball squad nip Golden Valley by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Kennedy upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Arvin (Arvin, CA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Arvin 1-1 in their recent non-league bout against Delano (Delano, CA)

The Bulldogs now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bakersfield for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Golden Valley will play a Drillers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Kennedy (Delano, CA). The Drillers record now stands at 1-3.
