Tennessee High School Volleyball - Hume-Fogg nudged by Portland
August 26, 2023: Portland, TN 37148 The Portland Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Hume-Fogg Blue Knights to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Merrol Hyde Magnet for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Portland will meet a Hawks team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Harpeth (Kingston Springs, TN). The Hawks record now stands at 3-3.
The Blue Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Anderson County (Clinton, TN). The Mavericks enter the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Anderson County nipped Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville, TN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
