August 26, 2023: New Caney, TX 77357 The Liberty Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host New Caney Eagles to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Panthers now possess a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dayton for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Liberty will meet a Broncos team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Kountze (Kountze, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 2-8.
The Eagles (5-10) will now prepare for their game against The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX). The Highlanders enter the 6A Region II District 13 game with a 15-11 record. In their last game, The Woodlands was nudged by Harlan (San Antonio, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
