August 26, 2023: Edwardsville, IL 62025 The Lutheran Crusaders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Metro-East Lutheran Knights to 0 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Crusaders now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staunton for a non-league game on Saturday, August 26. Lutheran will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
The Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their game against LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Cavaliers enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, LaSalle-Peru gained a win over Lutheran (Springfield, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
