August 26, 2023: Sioux City, IA 51106 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Sioux City East Black Raiders (Sioux City, IA) and the visiting Norwalk Warriors (Norwalk, IA), saw Sioux City East's volleyball squad nip Norwalk by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Sioux City East upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Black Raiders travel to Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA) to play the Maroons in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Maroons go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Dowling Catholic won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Ankeny (Ankeny, IA)
The Warriors now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Oskaloosa for a Little Hawkeye bout on Tuesday, August 29.
