August 26, 2023: Paris, AR 72855 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Searcy Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Paris Eagles.
The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Golden Eagles come into the 5A East battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Greene County Tech achieved victory over Piggott (Piggott, AR), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Eagles clash with the Charleston Tigers (Charleston, AR) in a 3A West battle, on Tuesday, August 29. Paris will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 3-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Waldron (Waldron, AR).
