Mississippi High School Volleyball - West Jones tips Puckett
August 26, 2023: Puckett, MS 39151 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the West Jones Mustangs (Laurel, MS) and the host Puckett Wolves (Puckett, MS), saw West Jones's volleyball squad nip Puckett by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, West Jones upgrades its record to 5-10 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Union (Union, MS) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 26. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Union won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS)
The Wolves now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Lake for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29.
