August 26, 2024: Franklin, IN 46131 Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs (Franklin, IN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Floyd Central advances its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Providence (Clarksville, IN) to clash with the Pioneers in a non-league test on Wednesday, August 28. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Providence 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN)
The Grizzly Cubs now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Decatur Central for a Mid-State test on Thursday, August 29. Franklin Community will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.
