Georgia High School Softball - Rome bounces Gordon Central
August 26, 2024: Calhoun, GA 30701 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Rome Wolves softball team scored a nice 17-6 victory over the Gordon Central Warriors.
The Wolves (4-6) will now prepare for their match against East Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Raiders go into the 5A Region 5 match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, East Paulding was routed by Harrison (Kennesaw, GA), 9-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 7 match, on Tuesday, August 27. Gordon Central will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Trojans go into the match with a 6-1 record after their 12-1 league win over Chattooga (Summerville, GA).
