South Carolina High School Volleyball - Gaffney tips Union County

August 26, 2024: Union, SC 29379

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Gaffney Indians (Gaffney, SC) and the host Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), observed Gaffney's volleyball team hold off Union County by a tally of 3-2.

The Indians (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Boiling Springs (Spartanburg, SC). The Bulldogs enter the AAAAA Region 2 contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Boiling Springs got by Spartanburg Christian Academy (Spartanburg, SC), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Yellowjackets meet the York Cougars (York, SC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 27. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
